What’s the Blister 5k?

Are you a fan of hot sauce and running? This is the race for you! Blister Hot Sauce and Nashville Running Company present the Blister 5k Hot Sauce Run.

This is a typical 5k with some heat thrown into the mix. Not only will the race begin at noon, but at each mile, you’ll have to do a shot of hot sauce.

At mile 1, you’ll start off with Blister’s Jalapeño Business (mild).

At mile 2, you’ll down Blister’s Original (medium/hot).

At mile 3, with only a tenth of a mile to go, you’ll shoot Blister’s Carolina Weeper (Carolina Reaper HOT).

Have no fear though. At the end of the race you’ll have your choice of NA beer or ice cream to cool down. Can you handle the heat?!?

While we encourage everyone, including runners and walkers, awards will only be given to those who “eat” the hot sauce and/or those who have the best costumes (male and female).
